  1. Jon, do you think we have to make changes gradually or cold turkey? I’ve started getting up at 6:10 each morning so that I have more time. I had things I needed (wanted actually) to get done in the mornings so I just made the change.

    Do you suggest a “just do it” approach or a “we’ll get there someday” approach to change?

    1. Great question Ellory – often it depends on the scale of the change, but you need to identify some early “wins” – action steps that you can take right away that will give you a sense of progress and accomplishment. In the case of waking up early 6:10 is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and if you set a day that you were going to start – then it was also time bound.
      If I go on much longer, I’ll have my next blog post – but to answer your original question – it’s either changed or it’s not – any small thing you do starts the wheels of change in motion.
