Share What You Are Working On!

Just last week I finished a 5 part series inspired by Jeff Goins’ Slow Down Challenge and his new book: The In-Between.

What about you? Do you have a blog, podcast, website, book, YouTube channel, new business, or even a story to share about something you are working on?

Tell me about it in the comments below – I’d love to see what you are up to!

  1. Here’s a few things I’m working on:

    1. Site redesign: The overall look will be changing to a fresher, cleaner look. New colors, features, etc.
    2. New content for the blog: Over at htttp://www.jmlalonde.com , the focus is shifting slightly to my original target audience of young and emerging leaders. The topics soon to be published should be going more in that direction.
    3. I’m ramping up for my eBook release: The book will be Leadership Is Dangerous and free to those who subscribe to my blog.
    4. Working on launching the Get Started Academy: Funny how creating a course for getting started can be so hard to launch. But it’s in process and hopefully launching soon.

With you asking us the question, how about you? What are you working on Jon?

    1. Joe – you are a reliable source for quality leadership material. I enjoy your focus on the “emerging” leaders.

I also cannot wait to see your eBook – I think that is an awesome title.

    2. I too am working on an Ebook (actually, I have a couple in the works!) and I have a brand new feature I am getting ready to launch titled “Casual Friday” which I will post on……….Friday.

    1. Mark – you are absolutely living your mission! I see you happening in all sorts of ways! While I am just a casual 24 fan, kudos to you on the podcast!

Thanks for asking Mark – I have a bunch of top secret things, but you can keep your eyes open for a fun segment on Fridays.

Oh, and I joined Platform University.

      1. The 24 Podcast has been an absolute blast so far!! I’ve never had more fun!

And that’s not fair!! You ask what we’re doing and then say “my stuff’s top secret!!” Hahaha

        1. well, since you put it that way…

          – 2 (maybe 3) ebooks in the next few months
          – A New Feature on Fridays
          – Some fun & big name “Life Changers” on select Mondays
          – My own line of cologne

          (maybe not the last one)

Thanks so much for doing this Jon. Great idea!

  9. Jon, what a great idea, as well as being very generous of you to be interested in helping others. I’m a big fan of Jeff and love the idea of like minded people helping each other whenever they can. Good luck with your 5 part series, I will check it out.
I’m in the process of getting my husbands book “Change Your Life Start Right Now” ready to self publish, if anyone would like to read a free pre-published e-book copy and give us a review please email me at therealmerrymonk@gmail.com or send me a Tweet @susanjmccann.
Gerry was a Franciscan priest and monk/friar for 40 years as well as a missionary in Central America. He shares what he learnt during his life experiences to help others to live their own dreams, and change their lives. It’s a self help book with tips and strategies. He has degrees in Psychology, Philosophy, as well as Religious studies and is a qualified NLP master practitioner and Coach.
This book is not about religion, it is meant to be inclusive for anyone who is interested in dicovering their own dreams and passions. How to take steps to achieve them and make a real difference to their own life and those around them.

      1. Thanks Jon, I look forward to hearing what you think of it. Well done again for helping us all to share what we are doing. It looks like lots of you are doing and creating projects books and services to help others.

  10. Thanks for the invite! I am currently working on two e-books … Creating Your Business Vision is already available on my site as a download, but we are currently formatting it for the Kindle marketplace. I am also working on a new ebook – One-on-One Meetings That Work.

I write on personal growth, leader growth, team growth and organizational growth at http://www.michaelnichols.org/.

  11. Hi, Jon. I’ve been on a blogging hiatus for a few months now, but have continued to write (maybe more consistently than when I had a platform to publish on).
I am currently working on a couple of guest posts for some incredible folks who have encouraged me and invited me to share on their blogs. I’m also currently drafting an ebook on the strength found in addressing wounds and vulnerability head on.
I hope to relaunch the blog soon with more focus and purpose.

My first book, The Journey to Excellence, will be ready to launch November 1, 2013.
My blog is up at http://www.ladyjevonnahellison.com

I’m so excited about this new season of my life and FINALLY doing what I know I’m destined to do.

P.S. I read In-Between too. I especially liked the part about Jeff throwing his mom’s earrings into the snow!!! 🙂 We’ll say hello to @jaredeasley

  13. Hey Jon (like your name),

I write a blog daily at http://jonstolpe.com. My blog is called Jon Stolpe Stretched, and it’s a place to share thoughts and experiences that are stretching me. Recording life’s stretch marks has become a healthy daily exercise.

I’m slowly working on a book or eBook about my short-term missions experiences in Guatemala. I hope to have something more concrete by late fall or early winter.

      1. I’ll confess that I’m consistent with Monday – Friday, and I take a break from blogging on Saturday and Sunday with an occasional exception post on one of these days.
